We got up early and pushed hard today to get to this shelter before 9pm. We hoped we could order pizza before 9, and also take showers there, so we were happy to arrive by 8:30. Shahanu was there at the shelter and there was a pizza box, too, so we hurried to the courtesy phone, but were told Pizza Hut only delivers between 4-7:30pm. Tweak showed up a few minutes later. He hiked 28 miles for pizza which he didn't get either. Denied.

So we ate our same boring hiker food for dinner and climbed up to the second level. There were a lot of bugs there, and ants bit me in my sleep, so I didn't sleep well.
