Young Explorers Grant

Exploration is the journey one takes in search of something, or in hopes to find something unknown. In modern times, our planet has been explored from the highest mountains to the deepest seas. However, the self is still unknown.

In an effort to get people outdoors, The Dusty Camel has begun the Exploration Grant initiative. This is the exploration of life through experience and adventure. The founding members would like to share the educational and life long experience of the great outdoors, which they have learned through adventuring, to those who are unable to do so.

In 2012, TDC will raise the funds needed to award two young adults, between the ages of 16 and 22, up to $5,000, and help them plan, and embark upon their journey. The Dusty Camel wants to help those who are unable to finance their journeys, fulfil the dream of a life time.

The focus is on young people whom have a harder financial situation and would otherwise not be able to partake in an experience in which they desire. Having firm roots in the big cities of the Northeast, we know the barriers which are in place, and will do whatever we can in order to help take them down.

While the grant is only geared towards the young, we encourage people of all ages to get in contact with us, for we help any and all plan, execute, and complete their journeys.
